Simile



Simile is a Figure of speech. It directly compares two things using "like" or "as."
Example: The child was as brave as a lion in the face of danger.
Literary Example: "Elderly American ladies leaning on their canes listed toward me like towers of Pisa." – Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita
